Launch Blog - How to Stand Out and Show Up in Content: Case Study – JackieeetheGlitterQueen

If you're building a business today, creating content is not optional. You are your own media company—whether you feel ready or not. You have to show up, speak up, and stand out. But let’s be honest: when you’re just starting out, hitting “publish” can feel intimidating. You may not feel like an expert yet. You may not know what to say or how to say it. You may even be putting out content for your clients but neglecting your own brand entirely (guilty).

Let’s fix that.

What’s Trending in Content Creation Right Now

In 2025, content that wins is raw, real, and relevant. Polished is out. Personality is in. Whether it’s a blog, a podcast, a video, or a carousel post, the style that resonates most is conversational, clear, and connected. Your audience doesn’t want another talking head or robotic script—they want a guide. Someone who gets them. Someone who's in the game.

This is why marketing expert Russell Brunson recommends recording a podcast every day. His own journey started with short episodes during his work commute—proving that consistency beats perfection every time.

My Personal Twist on the Podcast Challenge

I loved the idea—but here’s the thing: I don’t have a commute. And even if I did, driving while podcasting sounds like a terrible idea in more ways than one.

So, in true “make-it-work” fashion, I came up with a solution: I’m going to record my podcast from my car... in the driveway. Yes, you read that right. I’m staying true to the challenge and keeping it safe. Think carpool karaoke meets content creation. I came up with a brilliantly funny video concept to kick it off and now? I’m doing this. The driveway is my new creative studio.

Sometimes you just have to embrace the awkward, laugh at yourself, and hit record anyway.

How to Write Like an Expert (Even If You’re New)

Feeling like a fraud? Don’t worry. Here’s the truth: You only need to be one step ahead of your audience to lead them. Expertise isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about having insight. Talk about what you’re learning, what’s working for your clients, and what lessons you’re taking from real-life experience. You’re building trust, not writing a textbook.

Here’s how to start writing like a pro:

- Use personal stories. They connect instantly.

- Make it valuable and specific. Give people something they can apply.

- Write like you talk. Forget stiff, formal tone—just be real.

- Focus on clarity over cleverness. Every time.

My Personal Shift: From No Time to Prioritized Time

I’ve been producing content for clients for years. And like many service providers, I put their needs above my own brand. But I realized—that’s not working in my favor.

So I created a content schedule for myself:

- Monthly weekly (like this one)

- Daily posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook

- Repurposed content into short videos

- A live webinar every Thursday

The webinar, in particular, has been a game-changer. It forces me to:

  1. Build relationships with my ideal audience
  2. Build trust through consistency and visibility

Plus, presenting my written content live makes me more confident in my delivery. Because let’s be real—no one gets good on camera without reps.

Why Video (and Livestreaming) Matter More Than Ever

Video is non-negotiable. You don’t need a studio. You need a phone and a message. If writing is your strong suit, start there, then repurpose into:

- Short-form reels

- Explainer videos

- Livestreams

Livestreaming may feel scary, but it builds next-level intimacy with your audience. One of my favorite examples of this is a creator named Jackieeetheglitterqueen on TikTok. She wears whatever she wants—usually something sparkly, often something sketchy—and she dances unapologetically in her kitchen while practicing tap routines. She’s not waiting for permission. She’s documenting her own progress and inviting others into that space.

What I love most? She responds to every hater and troll, head-on. She's not out to impress, she’s out to empower. Jackieeee says she’s here to “see her own progress and to empower others,” and that there’s no reason to wait. “Social media is for everyone to express themselves, and they shouldn’t hold back.”

Jackieeetheglitterqueen, you are my freaking hero.

We don’t need curated. We need courage. And people like Jackieeee prove that when you show up as you are, people connect. That’s the whole point.

The Takeaway

Content is a habit, not a task. Do it every day—even when it feels uncomfortable. That’s when the real growth happens. If you're not prioritizing your own voice, you’re missing opportunities to build credibility, connection, and ultimately conversions.

So here’s your challenge:

- Write it down.

- Make a content calendar.

- Start showing up like the expert you are becoming.

New habits take time. But this one will pay off 10X—as the GenXers say! I’m paying attention.
